英語入試問題　長文完成

問題

ドーナッツに関する文章を読み、（１〜４）にあてはまる動詞を下の選択肢から選び、適切な形に変えなさい。

Donuts ( 1 ) popular among children in America for a long time.

But they didn't always have a hole!

These round, flat,fried cakes were once filled with soggy centers.

At least they ( 2 ) this way when early Dutch people bought them to America.

Then in 1847,a 15-year-old boy,Hanson Gregory, was in the kitchen.

His mother was cooking these cakes.

Hanson ( 3 ) her during that time.

He asked why the centers were so soggy.

She didn't have the answer for him.

Hanson took some of the cakes and ( 4 ) out the centers with a fork.

His mother fried them again.

This time they were delicious.

They were cooked better.

Today, when you visit Hanson's house in Maine, you can see a big plaque ( 5 ) that Aanson made the first doughnuts with a hole in this house in 1847.
